How to Count Inventory

Even though BravaPOS automatically keeps track of items sold and returned, Inventory Counts are still needed to show changes like lost, found, or broken items. If you are bringing additional inventory to your location follow the Add Inventory How To found here.

How To:

1. Select Inventory from the bottom button bar, then Count Inventory from the left button bar.


*Note: If you do not see Count Inventory you may not have permission to view it. Check with your manager/boss and ask for more ACL Role permissions


2. Choose which location you will be counting from the drop-down menu under Loc:. Change the Category to whichever group of products you would like to count. The items in the Category will appear below.


3. In the Count box found to the right of the products name enter the number of products you counted. After all counts are entered select Save at the bottom.

*Note: If you need to set all items in a category to the same count use Count All found below the last item in the category. 


 

4. If your count doesn't match the current amount BravaPOS is expecting a warning will appear. You can recount your products, or you can Ignore Warnings by checking the box to the right of the warning. If you Ignore Warnings you must select a reason from the drop-down menu to the right of the count about why it doesn't match the current. Select Save again to keep any changes you've made.
