If your printer is not yet connected to Wi-Fi, do this first:

Option A: Use the Printer’s AP Mode
  1. Turn on the printer.

  2. Hold the "Feed" button until it prints a configuration sheet.

  3. Look for the "AP" (Access Point) Mode SSID and connect to that network from your Mac (e.g., TSP100-XXXXXX).

  4. Go to http://192.168.10.1 in your browser to access the printer’s web interface.

  5. Under Network Settings, select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.

  6. Save and reboot the printer.

Once it reconnects, press the "Feed" button again to print the new IP address.

✅ 3. Download & Install Drivers
  1. Visit the Star Micronics website:
    https://www.starmicronics.com

  2. Search for your model: TSP143IIIW

  3. Download the Star CUPS driver for macOS.

  4. Install the driver by opening the .pkg file and following the instructions.

✅ 4. Add the Printer to macOS
  1. Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners.

  2. Click the "+" button to add a new printer.

  3. Your Star printer should show up if it's on the same Wi-Fi network.

  4. Select it and make sure to choose Star CUPS Driver (not Generic).

  5. Click Add.

✅ 5. Test Print

Once added:

  • Go to Printers & Scanners again.

  • Select the printer.

  • Click Open Print Queue > Printer > Print Test Page.
