Printer Suddenly Printing Small
Most Printer issues are simple to fix or may require a reinstallation of the drivers. All of these can be done by user and should be attempted before reaching out to the manufacturer or Support

Possible Quick Solution - It has been observed that on occasion a browser update can sometimes alter printer settings so that Silent or Kiosk printing (automatic printing no Print Dialogue box pops up) produces a smaller font while turning off Silent or Kiosk printing (Printer Dialogue box pop's up) keeps the font size the same.
If the correct printer size is known, make sure that that is set properly. You may need to go to the manufacturers page to find the correct size. Typically it will be a paper size with a width of 58, 72 or 80. Try different ones to see which one produces the desired result.
If adjusting the paper size doesn't work, you may need to turn off Silent or Kiosk printing (see below) which would cause a Print Dialogue screen to appear after every transaction or try the other steps below.
Each one of these steps alone may fix the issue or you may need to try them all. Verifying some basic information upfront is helpful.
Make certain the printer is powered on and plugged into the same port as when it was originally installed
Check to make sure the cables are not the issue. If you have a spare cable around, swap the cable and see if the issue persists.
After you have verified and determined the it is not a physical or power issue. Try these next steps:
1. Clear The Print Queue: Go to your devices Control Panel, select devices and printers, select the primary printer, and delete any documents that show up.
2. Select Printer On Browser(for Desktop devices): Sometimes the browser will select a different printer as a default, so disable kiosk printing if necessary, go to the browser’s print options and select the correct printer. If you are using Chrome remove the - kiosk printing from the target field in the icon path. Close all instances of your browser and reopen the POS again. You may power cycle the device entirely for this to take effect.
3. Delete and Reinstall Drivers: Sometimes a malfunctioning printer just needs a new set of drivers installed. Find the brand and model printer being used, download and install the drivers for it and restart their computer. Then make sure the browser had that printer selected. Delete all other instances of the printer to avoid confusion in the future.
