to make an item a Rental item you need to
- uncheck Consumable on the product.
- ensure inventory tracking is turned on
- in system settings adjust setting Conflict Check Settings/Time Buffer (Minutes) this is the defaunt time they need inbetween rentals. Each Rental Item can have it's own time
