How to Add a New Product + Category - Advanced

BravaPOS has multiple ways of adding and editing products and categories. This guide will walk you through using the Product Detail screen to change your store's available products and categories. If you do not need to make/edit a new category or sub-category consider using this method to Add your New Product.
How To:
1. Select the Inventory button from the bottom bar
2. Select Product Detail from the left side-bar
3. (Skip to Step 5 if your Category already exists) In order to make a new category select "New Category" at the top of the page. Enter the name for the new category under Category Name.
4. Select Default Locations, then Check any locations you would like this Category to appear at. Select Save when finished.
5. To Add a New Product to an existing Category, select the triangle to the right of the Category name, then select New Item
6. Enter item name under Name. Select "Change" next to Picture in order to upload a product photo (optional).
7. Farther down the page you can enter Min Price, the price that requires Manager Override to sell below (optional). Next to that is the Market Price, which is where you enter the regular price of the item. Checking Consumable: Sales Tax will apply the stores tax rate to this item when sold.
Checking Inventory Tracking makes sure the product has a count in the Inventory.
8. Select Locations, then Check any Location this Item should be available at. When finished select Save at the bottom of the window.
