BravaPOS has multiple ways of processing sales, payment types, and discounts. This guide will walk you through the steps of choosing the correct payment types depending on how the customer wants to pay. It will also assist you in applying discounts and splitting commission during the sale. If you are interested in adding new products to sell, see this guide.
How To:

  1. Sales can only be made with a clocked in employee. After clocking in, select the Home button from the top button bar if you are not already on the Home screen.



2. (Optional) Selecting ADD CUSTOMER from above the order on the right side will allow you to add a new or existing customer to the order. If your customer is a part of your company's loyalty program then rewards will appear at the top of the order as optional addition

3. Products with Top Level turned ON will appear first. Selecting Categories will allow you to pick which category of products is showing. You can also search for the product by name with the Search Products bar located top center of the screen. Information on changing Top Level, Categories, and other product settings.

 4. Products with Custom Price turned ON will show you the Custom Price screen before adding the product to order. The Custom Price screen allows you to change price, quantity, and will secretly show you the minimum selling price (Minimum Price always follows the letter). Information on turning Custom Price ON.

5. If any product is being sold below the Minimum Price the sale will require a Manger Override. Managers can use their login information to approve the sale. If the notifications for the location have been set up correctly the employee can choose to "Send Code Request to the managers phone or email, allowing you to approve by sending them the approval code from the message.

 6. You can also edit the price and discount on products in your order by selecting them in the order. Selecting the red X will delete that product from your current order. The grey number above the sub total is the total amount above minimum that the current order is being sold for. This amount can be used towards "free" gifts for the customer if desired.

7. When finished adding products to the order, select the CHECK OUT button found below the total. Then select the sales person who will complete the sale. Only clocked in employee's can make sales. You may also be prompted to add customer information. If you wish to skip hit SKIP in the bottom left corner of the Customer Selection window.
8. Selecting Order Discount from the left button bar will allow you to apply a percentage (%) or price before tax ($) on the entire order.
9. Selecting Split Commission from the left bar will allow you to split the current order's commission with employees you select.

10. Selecting Customer Info will give you another chance to select or enter the customer's information before the sale is complete. Selecting Payment Types from the left hand side will bring you to the original screen after checking out. Select the payment type the customer would like to use


*NOTE: If using an External Credit Card system you must enter the Transaction ID from the External Credit Card receipt. Using a random number will make it very hard to track transactions.

     11. If the customer would like to use multiple sources of payment make sure the Amount Tendered is below the Total of the order. After processing the payment you'll be able to select another payment type.


In this example the customer wished to pay $500 in Cash and the rest on an External Credit Card system.

     


12. When the total reaches zero, the receipt will show on screen. Selecting Reprint will print the receipt again. Selecting Order Details will open the Order Detail screen for this order. This page will allow you to process refunds, exchanges, and for a limited time after the sale RE-OPEN (future How-To) the order.
