How to Add a Product - Basic

BravaPOS has multiple ways of adding and editing products at your store. This guide will walk you through the steps of setting up a taxable, inventory-trackable item. If you are interested in setting up a new category or adjusting additional product options, see this guide.
1. Select Inventory from the bottom button bar
2. Select New Product from left-side button list
3. Select Locations, then check every Location the item should be available at.
4. Select which category that item should appear under. If a new category is required follow this guide.
5. Enter the product's name under POS Name. The normal selling price is put under Default Price. The price at which an employee needs manager override is under Minimum Price (optional). The price the Company paid for the product is under Cost (optional). Photos can be uploaded by selecting Change POS Photo (optional).
6. Select Save at the bottom of the window when finished entering all information.

| Sku | What Sku should be assigned to this product? (Used for barcodes) |
| POS Name | What should this Product be called? |
| POS Top Level | Should this product appear on the front screen of the Till? (Used for items you want quicker access to) |
| POS Custom Price | Should this item open a screen to edit the price before adding to the order? |
| Commission | Should this item have a specific commission that overrides the stores commission? If so what percent? |
| Default Price | What should the normal selling price of this item be? |
| Minimum Price | What price should require a Manager Override to allow? |
| Cost | How much does this product cost the business to purchase? |
| Reorder Point | At what inventory number should this item be reordered? |
| Tax Type | How should this item be taxed? |
| Inventory Tracking | Should this item be tracked in the system inventory? |
| Non-Taxable | Should this item be taxed? |
